Brittany and her horses provided a space to both pause and breathe while also gaining confidence for my next step.” – Privately Disclosed

You’re holding it together on the outside, but on the inside …

The cracks are starting to show.

Maybe it’s the performance anxiety that paralyzes you, or the trauma that sneaks up on you at the worst possible moment.

ADHD doesn’t help either, turning a quick trip to grab feed into a two-hour escapade that ends with a reorganized tack room but no grain in sight.

You keep telling yourself, I’ve got this, but deep down, you’re tired of holding it all together with duct tape, caffeine, and a prayer.

It doesn’t have to feel this way.

Picture this: mornings where you wake up and don’t immediately feel like throwing your phone across the room.

You’re walking into a meeting—or the barn—with actual focus and calm, not a swirl of self-doubt.

You’re having real conversations that don’t leave you replaying them for hours, wondering if you made it weird.

Even when life gets messy (because it will), you’re moving through it with confidence and clarity.

You can only fake it for so long before life calls you out.

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve been:

  • Running on empty

  • Carrying more than your nervous system was built to hold

  • Pushing through when rest wasn’t an option

  • Wondering why things that used to work….. don‘t anymore

This isn’t a personal failure.
It’s a nervous system that’s been doing its best for too long.

Therapy here isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping your system slow down, stabilize, and find its footing again.

Whether it’s horses, traditional therapy, or something in between, I meet you where you are. Maybe that’s at my barn in Boulder County, or on a Zoom call in sweatpants. Whatever feels best for you.

How Therapy Works Here

Therapy at Body N Soul Psychotherapy is grounded in:

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Attachment-based therapy

  • Embodied awareness and pacing

Some clients work with me entirely online.
Some prefer outdoor or nature-based sessions.
Some choose to incorporate equine-assisted therapy as one supportive modality.

The work adapts to the human — not the other way around.

Meet Your Clinician

I’m Brittany Foust, LPC—a therapist, equestrian, and person who gets it.

I bring over a decade of experience blending traditional therapy with innovative approaches like Equine Facilitated Therapy. As a professional eventer, I know firsthand the pressures of horse life and am uniquely qualified to provide support in that realm.

When I’m not helping clients or on the farm with my horses, goats, and poodles, I’m out playing in nature.

I believe therapy should feel authentic and down-to-earth, whether we’re talking it out in a session or working through challenges with a horse by your side.

Let’s get started.
